Little CD factory.

By:

Another project I finished today was Salem church CD package with 6 audio sermons. It took me couple days of design and getting information and materials ordered. And now I finished 10 straight hours of burning CD's and printing on them. In the end I burned and printed 150 CD's what made 50 CD packages. I'm glad that God have gave me tools to make those things and help out other churches.

Testimony of God's missive

By:

It was an honor to get phone call from my first church where I went. Pastor Leho told me that they have a prayer week for awakening. and every day they are going trough some topics like repent, gifts, calling. Leho asked me to go to Tartu and give a testimony how God sent me into Viljandi. Friday is a kind of bad day for me cause we have youth night. So I made a video testimony with my mac. It's here but its in Estonian sorry.

Thank you God that I can share, what You've done in my life with others.

Meeting with EBU elders

By:

Today started again a school week. I feel that I'm already failed in my studies cause I haven't finished lot of my home works. Last year have been so full of changes, cause of that I don't have a feeling yet that I am in university.

School day was kind of easy. Interesting lectures and day ended with a dinner. Estonian Baptist Union elders wanted to meet students who are in Theological seminary. It was kind interesting dinner. We sang together and everyone had to tell he's or her's story - why is he or she in seminary and what he or she is doing in God's kingdom.

I used the change and took some pictures with Seminars Nikon D50, nice camera :)  >>>see the pictures here<<<

Mom's Day

By:

Like any other Church so had we a Mothers Day service. Me and Agne had chance to speak. I encouraged mothers and gave idea to others that we can be "mom" like too. We need a burning hart for our spiritual kids. I brought out growing tips an but those in to disciple making. In the end our church kids performed 3 songs and gave flowers to moms - see on the video. Of cause they made cake and coffee for everyone.

Fun with youth

By:

Today we finished Relationships series on youth night. Today we talked how important is Relationship with God and how we can be in relationship with God. We had new girl Laura who asked really good questions. So we had really good conversations.

Somehow the night turned out really open and full of laugh. No one wanted to go home. We where drawing, playing board games and did stupid faces with cookies. Another prayer is answered. The youth are opening up more and more... thats Good :)

BibleDays

By:

It was a great weekend with 5 youth God gave me to go to Bible Days. It started on friday and ended on sunday noon. Bible Days itself where big. There where over 1000 registered youth. Thats more than any other year I know. I believe that it was great time for most of the youth who came. I met some who where non christian and they were disappointed cause they didn't knew that it was a christian event. In other hand it seems they enjoyed time there. Youth who came with me liked it mostly. One of my guys who have been raised up in really conservative family didn't like the charismatic speaker and the charismatic way for calling to repent. Seminars where good to. I listened seminar about End Times and it was full of youth and it was good. The other one was a teaching how to clean and wash myself with Bible reading. Of curse had Bible Days the Community serving event where everyone went out to clean the City.

Thank you God for another way of feeling and meeting you. Thank you for showing how many youth are thirsty and seeking for You. Please bless them on the way, speak into their hearts and hold them from temptations. Amen.

City without culture

By:

Last weeks have made me think weird things. One of these is Viljandi slogan "The heart of Viljandi beats in an ancient rhythm". The other slogan is that Viljandi is the culture capital in Estonia. These are two sentences how they describe Viljandi "Human and environment-friendly, sustainably developing Viljandi where people can live in harmony with the nature without disturbing it. Naturally beautiful, culturally rich and with good infrastructure Viljandi prove a nice place of recreation both for the people of Viljandi and for the visitors."

Sounds cool and kind of interesting. Isn't it? I've been walking around Viljandi with my youth by meeting them one on one. What I see is nothing close to culture. I see trashy city where wind blows around trash. I see how youth don't have anything to do, their talk topics are where we going to drink or party next or what was the last drinking party they where. On sundays youth are hanging around city drinking, smoking and doing all the stupid things you can imagine. If you go to Pub after 9 PM its full of teenager not adults.

Its seem that only things what make the Viljandi Culture Capital is the Most famost Tehater in Estonia called "UGALA". Then Cultural Academy and 10 Cultural events in year. The Estonian Folk Music Festival is the biggest and most known where people come together across country. But thats it. I personally think that Tartu is more cultural ant culture filled/connected than Viljandi. Viljandi is certainly in ancient beat where now days youth don't have a place.

Dear Father in heaven I pray for you. Pleas change the Viljandi and the local church in it. So Viljandi can be more then only ancient and culture. Let it become a city who seeks and worships you.

1 anniversary

By:

Yesterday we had our first anniversary. To be honest we didn't anything special still because of our hard financial situation. On the other hand we realized again that there isn't any restaurant to go on sunday afternoon.

Anyway we walked around Viljandi and tried to find any place to sit town and celebrate. There are only few places opened on sunday after 16:00. So we found a china restaurant. It was little scary looking deep in cellar. More Pub like then restaurant. Anyway we still though to give it a try. We sit dow next to little aquarium. In a while we found out it wasn't the best idea. The Aquarium was so dirty and not so appetizing. Same way we got scared about microwave sounds in next room.

So we got microwave heated food, what was kind of tasty. We looked back for our year together and realized again how much God have blessed us. Same way isn't it funny, we spend our Wedding night in Viljandi the year ago. Now we live in Viljandi. A year ago  I said I'll never going to live in Viljandi:) In the end we had good time full of good memories.

Thank you God for this amazing year.
